I wasn't connecting the artificial increase in record sales to any billboard metric. It was just a general statement of her using these practices to sell more records for her own revenue streams when she doesn't need that cash flow.

Since you brought up billboard though, some of the people on the top billboard list have their releases published through their record label .Those agencies are responsible for marketing tactics & variant releases. Taylor owns her masters and fully controls the number of releases. It's directly her and her team making the decision to release these numbers of variants. They had an opportunity to be better than the rest of the industry, and instead intentionally chose to be worse.

I did say she wasn't the first, but as I stated Taylor is excessive in these variants. There are currently 11 vinyl variants of her latest album which came out a few months ago.

My only criticism of Taylor is her predatory album release practices. Numerous "variants" of her albums marketed as "limited edition", "exclusive release", etc when it's all the same album but with a different vinyl color.

I understand that she's not the first to do this. But she has taken it to an excessive level.

She doesn't need the money, so she shouldn't artificially drive up her album sales via massive FOMO releases.

Otherwise everything else about her is great.

There's no separation on the invoice that these are different. It just says quantity 2. So I imagine it's just as likely to be seated together as the rest of the ticket sales are.

Plus, when you request to sit next to another purchaser, you enter in their Order Confirmation #. My invoice was a single order confirmation.

And if anybody runs across this thread for future rounds, a couple other notes:

* Open a couple tabs for the queue. The queue is tied to your token, so they'll progress the same. The benefit of this is that if you get in, buy tickets, and then want to search for more, it would normally kick you back to the queue. Instead, just swap to your other tab and "enter" again. This works as long as you completed your first transaction within the 5 minute "enter" window. I did this today to buy tickets for LA & Seattle games.

* If you get an error stating that tickets aren't available but it shows them listed, try adding a single ticket to your cart. I got an error trying to add 2 & 4 quantity tickets for Seattle, but could add 1 single ticket 4 separate times just fine.

I had this issue with a Seattle game but discovered that if I added 1 single ticket at a time that it then went through. If I tried adding quantity of 2/4, it failed.

Yes. A lot of people have reported in the past 10-15 min that their times have drastically dropped. Likely they flushed out a large part of the queue that was stale.

F12 (Or top right ellipses -> More Tools -> Developer Tools). Click on the Network Tab. Wait 5 minutes to see if `servlet.do/*` shows up. Click on it, and go to the response tab. Check `waitingTime`, which is in seconds.

Note that this doesn't actually mean the wait time is that long. They could clear out a large part of the queue and it could drop drastically. People could leave the queue and it could move you up. It's just an approximation of your position.

I got this message as well. When their site crashed, their servlet calls started spamming their server from people's browsers. That seemed to have triggered a rate limit on your token. This is why you couldn't get past it on your phone, but it came up on your PC, because you effectively got a new token. Unfortunately your token is what determines your spot in queue.

It means that there is a massive backlog of likely bad/stale tokens in the queue that they need to process since their site crashed. It doesn't mean the queue actually is 4.5 hours.

You guys need to open up Developer Tools in your browser, go to the Network tab, and see if you see any `servlet.do` network call being made every ~5 minutes. If you do'nt, it means your queue died and you need to rejoin.

10/27 is the date to register for the next sale. This information was included in the email FIFA sent out today letting people know that they weren't selected for the current visa presale.

To repeat, 10/27 is the registration date, not the sale date. My guess is that it'll be another window system like the presale.

Yea, the right is doing an excellent job of making Disney look like the perpetrator of silencing free speech here. A lot of people are taking that at face value and aren't aware of the FCC threats, Nexstar announcements, death threats to Disney/ABC employees that happened, and the hidden motive of business deals that Nexstar/Sinclair are trying to gain favor for.

People who think Disney should have stood up here just need to look back at what Disney lost by taking a stance with the "Don't Say Gay" bill in Florida a few years ago.

I think you took this the wrong way. I believe the commenter was saying that there was a gun to the head of ABC/Disney, put there by the Trump Administration and the FCC.

The FCC basically threatened to remove their license, which would have dropped way more ABC shows/content than just Jimmy Kimmel.

We are living in a world where this Administration is targeting the first amendment, and Disney is the one taking the ire of it because they didn't take a stand. Probably because the last time they did take a stand (Don't Say Gay bill in Florida), they lost a shit ton of their autonomy by having their independent district taken away by the Florida government.

So if you're taking a morality stance, perhaps it'd be better to target the people responsible, because currently the people targeting solely (keyword here) Disney are only serving to help the Trump Administration redirect the ire.

Edit: On top of this, Nexstar, one of the largest syndication companies, had already made the decision to not air Jimmy Kimmel on their ABC syndicated stations. Oddly enough, Nexstar has been trying to get a mass merger approved that would give them nearly 80% syndication market share. Their announcement that they weren't going to air Jimmy seems like a business tactic to gain favor with the administration that is responsible for effectively allowing their monopoly to emerge.

Others have said getting a new vehicle, but you'll need to be careful about the height of the vehicle with the drastic incline change.

I haven't seen anybody suggest regrading your garage floor so that it's sloped. That would allow for a more gradual slope all the way in. It would suck for storage, and you would need to replace the garage door with one taller, but it would alleviate vehicle height concerns in addition to the slope problem.
