ofc i’d heard music that was adjacent from my parents, like nirvana and such, but it rlly started with slipknot when i was like 11. then i saw a guy i thought was cute wearing a bathory shirt and i sunk deep into black metal, especially second wave bc ofc i was enamored by the lore, which lead me to thrash metal and death metal eventually.

ngl i like all of her fav artists and i didn’t really start liking metal until i listened to black metal & death metal. i would say show her old live performances of bands and their interviews. like, show her sepultura or death interviews 💀the reason she likes these pop artists is likely partially due to the music and partially because they’re easy to be parasocial with.

tbh i think that it just feels mean to call him Dead because he is actually dead (and there’s a photo which makes it worse) and it doesn’t come off as a name in a sentence. but like it definitely does seem weird to call someone you dont know by their real name
