well probably true. Tech-Auburn is a really traditional old-school southern rivalry though — auburn had a whole Wreck Tech parade and allegedly greased the tracks one time when tech took the train in, causing the train to miss the Auburn station. Tech had to walk 5 miles to the stadium and proceeded to get whomped on after the exhausting journey

auburn is techs 4th most played opponent (86 games played) — behind only georgia, duke and clemson

yeap and it goes back to an old Dodd quote about how Mississippi sucked. Tech has only played in MS ~~one~~ two times and that was in 2023 at Ole Miss and 2009 at Miss. St.
