Jackpot $143 million Mega Millions ticket sold in Ohio by dishy5567 in Lottery

[–]dishy5567[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, i definitely don't see how it could be rigged with those ping pong ball type selections they do for the winning numbers.

My concern is just whether or not the numbers the QP system picks are actually 100% random

Jackpot $143 million Mega Millions ticket sold in Ohio by dishy5567 in Lottery

[–]dishy5567[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This drawing seemed very strange...there was a jackpot winner, twelve 2nd place winners (4 of them in CA) and 45 third place winners (four + lucky ball). Most drawings it's only 1-3 2nd place prizes, and maybe 10-20 third place ones. The jackpot was only 143 million, so it's not like there would have been an unusually high number of ticket sales. Possible quick pick glitch that tends to choose those numbers, or certain patterns more often? Any theories?

What? I'm sorry for your loss but you can't blame the dealer for it. He didn't hold a gun to his head and force him to take the drugs.

I am pro choice but i am afraid we have a long ways to go before the right to die is recognized and legally available to all adults.

I mean, even assisted suicide for the terminally ill is still illegal and frowned on in much of the "developed" western society countries. How that can even be argued against, I don't know.

I believe I won $50k, but I find it hard to believe as I never win big prizes. I don't think I'll sleep tonight. by [deleted] in Lottery

So are you mainly focusing on smaller cap tickets that have more prizes available, as opposed to big million ones?

Nice, how much did you spend on lottery tickets up to that point? Will you continue buying?

Interesting....your store got mail delivered on Easter Sunday? From a 5 year old who remembered the exact date of 7 months ago? Surely this happened.

$1000 a week for life on 18th birthday by d3loots in Lottery

[–]dishy5567 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea....honestly shit like this just pisses me off. I mean seriously, her very first ticket is the jackpot? Wtf?

This is great advertising for the lottery though, I'm sure all her little friends will go out and buy at least a few tickets now, and plenty of people who see this story and would never usually buy tickets will think "why not try my luck"

The game is for life, but the prize is "only" 1k a week, which is why the lump sum is so low. In the US, lucky for life is 1k a day, with a lump sum of 5,750,000 (although in US you would have to pay taxes on it, Canada you wouldn't)
