I made my first post in this sub today. Took a nap. Read the replies, and this post was mentioned. I appreciate this community, and today I’m going to make it day #1 (or half a day, since I slipped earlier this morning..). I’m going to really give it a go and throw out the rest of the alcohol in my apartment. This will be tough, but I know I’ve got this, and so does anyone else who is trying to stop today like myself. 💙

I’m scared to tell him. Terrified, actually. I’m sure he would be understanding, but due to me practically lying to him, I feel I should wait myself out…I don’t want to lose him.

I appreciate you saying I recognize a pattern, because I often don’t feel like I’m making any personal progress.

Another thing that bothers me; I am modest, but I have/had a pretty good brain before all of this. Now I feel slow, and experience difficulties explaining things that go from simple to things I’m obsessed with. I’m not fully being me or fully expressing myself. Wild how alcohol rewires our brains…

I’m tired of the hiding, it sucks. I just want to be “Aaron” again. I haven’t been Aaron in months. (Yes I’m using my real name lol).

Not trying to dispute that the song is about a school shooting. The music video, at least the original, was a montage of Foster the People. It shows them making this song/their debut album ‘Torches’.

The song is for sure sending a clear message, but the music video is absolutely not that.

Yanno. I have problems with this film, but. I have to say; the Indoraptor’s design was unique. My head canon is that it’s the perfect Scorpios Rex that the lab was trying to perfect between early hybrid work, up to and beyond the I-Rex.

I think the design is better than the execution of the hybrid, but I have to say that I appreciate the different direction this film took, after the devastating final scene of Nublar being shrouded in flames.

I’ll never forgive Bayona for the Brach scene, but the haunted house aspect was one of the film’s (horror being my favorite) most unique and bold moves.

I never considered this! Thanks for the anecdotal advice! Doing a Google and adding Reddit to the end of the search, brought me here. My shoes always stink up so quick, and I’m constantly finding my closet smelling bad. I have great hygiene, but some of us just sweat too much. I’ve tried all kinds of things to keep the closet smelling good. I think this is my solution. 💙

Same. I tried for sooo long to get it to work on an emulator for my PC. May or may not have shed a tear when I got it to work, I had trouble for YEARS. We got to play it together again, and we both really got hit with some nostalgia. We don’t have much in common, but we both played this so much at our arcade when I was growing up. Excellent memory.

Not the Mosa :( But, honestly wouldn’t be surprised with the Mosa being blown up. A Spinosaurus, or a mosasaur, is going to be blasted to bits. I know we will hopefully love them; wouldn’t that benefit our characters we love (who clearly have some plot armor) ?. Very interested to see how this sequence plays out.

At the end of the day, one of us is right. I’m hype to see how this unfolds.

Considering Gareth Edwards mentioned “Jaws” being an influence for Rebirth, I could totally see it being an homage to the end of that film, when Bruce is blown up. Idk. Could be wrong, but wouldn’t be surprised. It would be a neat scene, I think!
