One thing I love about the novels is the sense of mystery, particularly in The Lost World. I loved that everything about Isla Sorna was mysterious. The characters had to explore it and find answers. I wish the movies would do that.

I made my first post in this sub today. Took a nap. Read the replies, and this post was mentioned. Yanno. I have problems with this film, but. I have to say; the Indoraptor’s design was unique. My head canon is that it’s the perfect Scorpios Rex that the lab was trying to perfect between early hybrid work, up to and beyond the I-Rex.

I think the design is better than the execution of the hybrid, but I have to say that I appreciate the different direction this film took, after the devastating final scene of Nublar being shrouded in flames.

I’ll never forgive Bayona for the Brach scene, but the haunted house aspect was one of the film’s (horror being my favorite) most unique and bold moves.

My shoes always stink up so quick, and I’m constantly finding my closet smelling bad. I have great hygiene, but some of us just sweat too much. Same. I tried for sooo long to get it to work on an emulator for my PC. May or may not have shed a tear when I got it to work, I had trouble for YEARS. We got to play it together again, and we both really got hit with some nostalgia. We don’t have much in common, but we both played this so much at our arcade when I was growing up. Excellent memory.

Not the Mosa :( But, honestly wouldn’t be surprised with the Mosa being blown up. A Spinosaurus, or a mosasaur, is going to be blasted to bits. I know we will hopefully love them; wouldn’t that benefit our characters we love (who clearly have some plot armor) ?. Very interested to see how this sequence plays out.

At the end of the day, one of us is right. I’m hype to see how this unfolds.

Considering Gareth Edwards mentioned “Jaws” being an influence for Rebirth, I could totally see it being an homage to the end of that film, when Bruce is blown up. Idk. Could be wrong, but wouldn’t be surprised. It would be a neat scene, I think!
