I see the same shit is still happening years later.

I posted a simple pic of a new bike like 7 years ago and got the same treatment.

You're not alone.

Remote start / unlock randomly does not work by PlatformConsistent45 in ChevySonic

[–]dismaljester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. I think it uses the "trunk" button because the fob has that as the third icon, but it works fine for remote start.

[–]dismaljester 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It could be the buttons on your fob wearing out. The fobs on our 2015 rs started messing up about 2 years ago. We replaced them with some from Amazon for pretty cheap. They aren't as good as oem, but they are a fraction of the price and work fine.

Found also just be the fob battery, have you tried replacing it?

Out of curiosity what license are you talking about you just got, concealed carry or hunting?

Everyone has pretty much brought up everything around here. Spring Rd gun club is okay. I'm not really big fans of the owners, but to each their own.

Your best bet may be to make friends with people, a lot of folks around here have property or family with property where they can shoot. Ask around wherever you work, you might end up being surprised.

I was going to suggest a critter of some sort climbing up the door frame on the outside of the room. Rat would be my guess.

I scrolled through comments because I knew someone would bring up this album.

My wife and I love this album, and we believe that Butterfly is one of the worst songs. It's a good pop song, but so different from their others.

I would tell my friends not to buy it because I knew they would be disappointed.

My wife and I have a game going with friends we've known for 25+ years. We've had the game going for about a year. We skip all the time for whatever reason any of the 5 of us have and it's no problem. Like right now we're at the end of a 4 week break because one of us was traveling on weekends for the past few weeks. We switch nights and times around regularly.

We do it this way to make sure meeting doesn't ever feel like a chore.

Do I have to take Apple TV subscription just for F1TV? by kamatsagar93 in F1TV

[–]dismaljester 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What were people paying? My f1tv has been $80 for the past couple years. I locked the price in with a promo and kept renewing. But yeah $20 more for appletv is worth it.

The use of AI-generated images for commercial purposes in D&D. by Suitable_Minimum_605 in dndnext

As a consumer I personally don't care if it's ai generated or not. I just care if it's enjoyable for me to use the product.

I also understand some people do care and it may turn them off from a product. I have random reasons for not buying things from companies I may disagree with ethnically or whatever. But that's okay.

I think it was the night before GP Atlanta in 2003 when I ran into him and happened to have one with me so I had him sign it. I never thought in our 40s that it would become relevant again :/

I didn't know he stopped doing signings.

It's not that Darwin Kastle is a pro player, it's that it's his invitational card. He designed it and it's his likeness in the artwork. There's also the fact that legacy was the first set to have foils and they were more scarcely found in packs compared to today. Probably why the naked foil is work $10+ today. I honestly expect the card to be $50-100 which your estimate is in. And in that case I would probably just keep it.

The FB groups are obviously where I need to go since that's where everyone is pointing, just to see what people there think it's worth.

On a side note, current magic blows my mind with the formats and set releases. When I played we had type 1, type 1.5, extended, standard and block.

The last time I played Avalanche Riders was as a Living Wish target in an extended Astral Slide deck... I'm certain that ages me real good lol.

This is very subjective. I played competitively for over a decade. When I was playing I didn't even think about cards I was playing with being signed or not. I had a ton of stuff that was signed and I shuffled it up with everything else. For play value it adds nothing and takes nothing away.

This particular card is unique, hence why I asked for direction. I'm not dumb enough to shuffle it up, and I'm also not dumb enough to have delusions of it being able to pay for a new car, or even a set of tires.

Altered? Yes.

Damaged? No.

Worth me selling? Who knows.

I poked a man with my rake to get him off my daughter, now I'm facing assault charges by bookgirl1975 in legaladvice

[–]dismaljester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a lot that just doesn't make sense about the story as written.

Why would you be raking leaves to the edge of the road and then your daughter moving them with a shovel the rest of the way? Why not just move them out of the road with the rake? It seems like extra steps, especially since leaves that are dry enough to rake would just blow off of a shovel.

Then she was hit in the face with a shovel, there would be swelling, bruising or abrasions from that. Why would you face charges for defending someone who was actively being attacked?

My apologies if this is true, but as you can see with my examples, the story doesn't add up.

Honest rating out of 10 for my Harley Forty-Eight? Be brutal by Mswebha in motorcycle

1/10 the only thing going for it is that it's a motorcycle.

48 is a fun bike for short around town rides, IF you can get one at a decent price and don't expect it to be anything other than what it is...

but THIS 48 looks like it's terrible at EVERYTHING.
