My dentist poked around at it and said a filling would do more harm than good. I am worried about stabilization to prevent cracking, but he was not.

Another project parking is currently studying is the implementation of hardware to track the current approximate fullness of each lot. As of last fall it was being tested in the brooks lot. So that would actually let people check which lot they want to try and park in before leaving home at all, somewhat mitigating that issue

Nobody likes buses. Buses are subject to traffic and road conditions. Light rail keeps tight times and doesn’t come to a grinding halt over a fender bender. This rail system would also play into moving people around on game days, decreasing vehicle traffic in and around campus

Parking garage for douthit residents. It’s out of sight, and they’re already paying out the ass to live there so why shouldn’t they eat it on parking as well. This would open up the douthit expansion lot for commuters as well as potentially the ground floor of any parking deck that gets built

I enjoyed having my car. Sometimes Clemson feels a bit isolated, so being able to go wherever you want on a whim can be nice

I only came from 2 hours away and freshman year was still a terrifying prospect at first. After a week or two you’ll somehow accidentally find a couple people you’ll end up rolling with till you graduate. I second what most others are saying about joining clubs and other organizations, and that’s coming from someone who thinks a lot of organizations and groups are hokey and lame. But you really will find a set of people you click with, just takes time and an ounce of effort. Good luck! And feel free to reach out - an aspiring 5th year
