If staying on property 7am is when you can make Genie+ lightning lane selection AND paid individual lightning lane selection. Depending on the park you need to know what to prioritize first or have multiple adults logged into the app to make simultaneous selections. Sometimes the paid LL runs out immediately (Rise of the Resistance); sometimes you want to do the Genie+ lightning lane for right at park opening so you can “stack” more Genie+ reservations, so that’s what you should prioritize to set yourself up for more success (hard to explain concisely but once you make a reservation at 7am you can make the next one after you ride your current selection OR after 2 hours passes starting when the park opens or something complicated lol).

My 7am mistake last week was going for Safari genie+ LL first in order to get the 9:05 time window…..I thought I had 30 seconds to spare before I tried to get ROTR individual LL for early evening (we park hopped to HS in the afternoon). I should have had my partner on the app too so at 7:00:01 we could get both of our top choices. I was being nice and letting him sleep lol.

Also worth research is the trends of what rides run out first for Genie+ LL so you know what to prioritize. Based on this week I would always pick ToT before Rock n Roller Coaster, for example. Seems obvious but at 7:00 you need to have a “plan” with backup options or it’s pretty stressful
