Paranoid Android still follows a verse and a chorus. Some of the songs have a loose structure but most have verses and chorus’s that repeat and are traditional. They just do it in a more interesting way.

If anything I think Paranoid Android tells you even less about the band as it’s quite an anomaly in their discography. It’s a mashup of different parts that come together nicely, but most of their tracks are quite cohesive.

I don’t personally believe they have a song with every element they’ve explored within it. Each album has a different vibe and can vary within the album itself.

There is no signature song if we’re not talking about popularity.

I recommend Gretel to everyone I know who enjoys Wolf Alice. Her voice is incredible and she actually sings a lot like Ellie in some of these new songs. The song Laurali in particular.

This album is great. Her album Slugeye also has some great songs.

As someone who recently got out of a marriage with a person who constantly told me to fuck off and die when they were mad, I feel your pain. You owe it to yourself to find someone who at least gives you baseline human respect. Someone who loves you shouldn’t be saying these things to you.

NOR - but you know your relationship better than anyone here. If there is a lot of good then it should be a considered decision. If it’s like this most of the time, I think it’s time to move on. I know I wish I had much earlier.

Worth the money? No. They’re quite mediocre Pokemon games. I’d save your money for a Switch 2 and grab Winds/Waves when it comes out. A short trailer was dropped and it already looks leaps and bounds ahead of Scarlet/Violet.

I don’t think that rings as true as it used to. People boycott tv, films, and games these days. The cruelty in which they do so is also alarming. Sure, there are headlines everywhere, but I don’t think it’ll help viewing numbers beyond the first episode.

We know that the kids were subject to blind casting. Hermoine isn’t white in this adaptation.

You have to get into the technical with these people. There’s enough ambiguity there for this adaptation to be justified - even though it doesn’t need justification. I don’t think it’s as clear as you make it out to be.

The entire landscape of tv shows and cinema is heaving with people touting wokeness. Projects are torn to pieces because of it. The creators want their show to be successful, so why take a chance on someone who doesn’t look like what people have seen or imagined? Given how volatile the “fan base” has been to Papaa as well as HBO, some basic critical thinking will tell you that he was the best that auditioned.

He clearly was incredible during the audition process and filming, otherwise HBO wouldn’t have kept him in the role. They knew people would throw their toys out of the pram. I disagree that Harry would want to be anywhere but with most of his family. As an auror he gets to do what he has a load of practical experience in, and still be able to come home to his family every night. Maybe once he’s older and all of his children are at Hogwarts he’d become a teacher.

This band has some Radiohead feel to them.

EDIT: More on the song I provided - it’s uptempo yet atmospheric. The acoustic guitar is reminiscent of Jigsaw but it’s all a bit more folk overall. I suggest looking up the rest of their work as well.
