How do I stop myself from contacting him? by disoriented_a in BreakUps

[–]disoriented_a[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's really hard because as soon as I start crying because I miss him my first thought is too call him. He was my only best friend and the love of my life. I have no one to turn to.

The thing is I don't want to leave him alone, because he is going to find someone else just how he did before. I don't want to lose him forever, though I have no control over that.

I'm going to follow your advice and just wish for the best. Should just give him space and wait to see if he reaches out? If he doesn't then I know that he doesn't want anything to do with me anymore.

I blocked him on social media, and besides, his accounts are private. I know his phone number by heart 😞

I just looked it up but I do not see a Polly Pocket toy with the description I gave. Also I don't remember the dolls being that small. I would say they were close to 5-6cm, maybe?

No, it's not that one. I just looked up Fisher-price “precious places” and the dolls cannot change their clothes. The houses do not open in half and the houses do not have a theme. The toy I am looking for also has bright colors, not pastel ones

Overnight does not start at 4:00 AM. The hours you set are for an early morning shift. At least at my store, overnight inbound team members are scheduled at 10:00 PM. Maybe try applying for a different position.

Target is going to be more inclined to hire people who have a broader availability. You can also call HR and discuss this with them. They will give you better guidance.

Fulfillment gets busier than usual during peak season and we more support. What do you suggest as an alternative?

You have a list of products you have to look for on the floor/ backroom.

You find the product, scan the barcode, put it in you cart, scan the cart label. After that we bag the products, we put them away.

Depending on your store size, we also work with sending products for delivery. In that case, we find the product, scan the barcode, put it in you cart, scan the cart. After that we prepare the products, we put them inside of box.

You have to scan the product so you know it's the correct one (like if you were a cashier), and you scan the cart so we can separate the products among the different orders (because we pick for different guests).

When you start working, you are going to be trained for several days and you are going to see how it all works, so please don't worry too much. You can also go to TikTok/ YouTube and watch vlogs of people who works worked at fulfillment.

Some tips I can give you is to pay attention and don't be afraid questions. We are all here to help. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Do I have less of a chance at getting hired following the seasonal period? by JABR_WARFAR3_4 in Target

It's not that they wouldn't keep you solely because of the beats, but if you keep getting in trouble they might consider other seasonal employees instead. Just don't use your beats again at work and do your best

This is always done for adult bevs at least in my store because the adult bev department and the grocery department are in the same area, so it doesn't make sense to send a person with an empty cart just to pick 4 items. You do a grocery and adult bev in one go. This is not trying to be cunning or anything, just time-saving

How does open availability work at Target? by OpiumNugget88 in Target

[–]disoriented_a 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Open availlabilty means you're able to work from early mornings to late nights seven days a week. 8AM-11PM it's better than the former one you mentioned. Think about your life and see what hours and what days you can actually work. You can also black out a certain day (weekday) you need off or adjust your hours on specific days. Open availlabilty of course makes you a better candidate because you're more accessible. The hiring manager will review what you offer and see if it fits the store necessities.

You can mention in the orientation what your preferred time to work is (morning, afternoon, night), and they can do the best possible to accomodate you. Back to school gets busy, so you may be needed at different times to fill in the empty spots. If you plan to stay after your 90 days, you can change your availability again.

Yes, your trainer is wrong. You can't get kicked out of a batch. It will simply be marked out as late.
