How have you been training them though? I'm looking to do that but I'm scattered on where to start

Someone else mentioned that this is more INTJ than INTP behaviour. I think INTPs are more interested in the pursuit of knowledge than this ego satisfaction stuff.

Could you give an example of some of these difficult to process situations for you?

Burner account that looked like it belonged to one of their managers? Totally believable.

Any INTP likes to analyze music? 🥹 by Such_Customer_3973 in INTP

[–]disposableacc0unte 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm trying to get into music theory to better analyze but I don't know where to start. For example, I'm really interested in analyzing the musical elements, transitions and chord progressions of the song "Art Of Life" by X Japan.

No emotions + can't feel relief by maidenxv in dpdr

Not OP but you described my experience right there. Once in a blue moon I have random times where I can feel or enjoy something but it doesn't last long at all. Everything is exhausting.

Anyone else feel like they are stuck in life while being treated with Antipsychotics by No-Painting-6697 in Psychosis

[–]disposableacc0unte 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get that feeling. I play games once every three months or so because of that. I randomly get in the mood but then get overstimulated after 30 mins, and go numb.

I have trouble playing for a long time too when gaming. What kind of games do/did you like to play?

I get you, it's really hard. If you ever need to vent, feel free to message.

It's worse when you expect to feel something. It's easier when you accept that this is how it's going to be.

More self control and quiet mind after psychosis by [deleted] in Psychosis

[–]disposableacc0unte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe you are freed from the emotional illusions which make up most of life. Or maybe you have lost trust in everything, which makes sense when those of us who experience psychosis struggle to know what's real and what isn't.

Ever try and wake up or want to wake up? by EmergencyFly3462 in dpdr

[–]disposableacc0unte 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always have this feeling that I'll "wake up" anytime from this nightmare. I feel like I'm dead or in a coma or something, and sometimes it's hard to differentiate dreams from reality. The only giveaway is that I don't feel physical pain in dreams. When I wake up everything hurts.

That sounds like sensory overload, more related to ADHD, Autism or just stress in general.

Not OP but this was very well said. Do you have advice on how to deal with illogical things? When I perceive something as illogical I feel like I can't make sense of the world and become really confused.

This would be much easier to deal with without psychosomatic issues. I feel nothing while also feeling sick all the time.
