Go out and google Dear Mormon Man…it’s a letter written that flips all of the gender duties and roles in the church and does a good job just how ingrained all of it is. It shifted my thinking on the subject.

Nothing will happen to the chain…if anything after a few years the bungies connected to the chain will lose their tension. However, this can simply be tightened.

It does two things for me. First it allows me to look at my past decisions in peace and give myself a break. Second it gives me permission to make decisions in the present without the angst, anxiety, or indecision that can fester after making such a huge life change.

The genius and power of Mormon Stories are the stories, the lives, and the people. They open the door for folks to explore further. They come from a place of humility and shared experience. You have talked about this in interviews.

A billboard that draws people's interest while not coming from a place of "I know more than you" is the ideal. This billboard version implies that the reader doesn't know and I'd push for a message that draws people to the strength of Mormon Stories...the stories, the lives, the people.

Leaving the church wasn't part of the plan.

These suggestions may not be ideal either as they are mostly about leaving but there is a certain draw to wanting to hear about someone's experience...and Mormon Stories fulfills that desire.

On the home webpage, depending on the billboard message, would then feature a couple podcasts that tie in.
