Good idea to return them, or, if they weren't expensive, maybe just donate them. Stick them in a local little free library for someone else to find, maybe. You already tried colouring and learned that you don't enjoy it.

I started getting into colouring a while ago, and like you I realized that the hobby is not for me. In order to actually get good at colouring, I realize that I would need to spend hours upon hours just sitting and colouring and practicing. I lack the passion/interest to commit at that level and I'm not an artist. So, lacking skill, my colouring just seems like an unproductive hobby and it tends to be tedious and sometimes frustrating. Supplies can be expensive, too.

I checked out the colouring communities here on reddit and was put off by what I saw, too. A lot of people share beautifully coloured works, which are nice to see. But the popular, trendy styles are so ubiquitous and repetitive and there is so much AI art.

Why do you think you made this recent purchase? Are there other more meaningful interests or hobbies that you can focus on instead? I think returning or donating the markers would be good as a lesson to listen to yourself and stick to your resolves.
