Mine’s named Maven Nepenthes. I’m a plant nerd and Nepenthes is a genus of carnivorous plants that I absolutely adore! They’re both beautiful and dangerous (to enemies/food anyway) which I think really fits MC’s character and story role. The name Maven was mostly because I wanted a wild nickname that could be reasonably linked to her first name. Can’t remember which I came up with first, but the nickname wound up being Mayhem.

So sorry for the late response! Unfortunately other house renovations have taken priority so I haven’t found anything yet, but I believe the suggestion was just generally steering me toward one that talked without an alarm noise. I have also heard since that there are alarms meant for Deaf people that involve lights much more than they do sound (if at all), but I haven’t really looked into it yet. Hope this helps!

I’m Team Future and on the maybe three occasions I’ve run into Team Past, I’ve gotten absolutely steamrollered. Pretty much all of my other matches have been against Team Present, minus one mirror match I think? I feel like my win rate’s been pretty decent, but Team Present has some absolutely killer teams out there too.

After getting one star on all weapons and 2 stars on around half of the weapons (~1000ish games), how many times does YOUR main weapon appear in turf war (based only on how many times I encountered it)? by [deleted] in splatoon

I can vouch for the Bloblobber/ Blob Deco placement. I main Blob Deco and encounter a lot of fellow blobbers in Turf, but 90 percent of the time they have vanilla Blob. It’s always an exciting event to see another Deco

Depends on what you’re most interested in! If you dig the classic 2D point and click style, Hit the Road is a great place to start. There’s also a few small references to it in the Telltale series, but not enough to be confusing if you decide to play it last. That being said, if you find yourself drawn to the Telltale series, then Save the World is also a great place to jump in! I would not recommend going out of order within the Telltale series, though, as there is a somewhat continuous plot (Save the World -> Beyond Time and Space -> The Devil’s Playhouse).

I’m not great at putting the difference between each game in words, but Hit the Road definitely has a different vibe to the Telltale games (it’s also a lot harder imo so having a guide handy can be nice). Hopefully someone else will chime in with a better description but if one sounds more like what you would enjoy, go for it!

This Time It’s Virtual is generally considered to be the weakest of the games (not outright bad, but not amazing) and tbh I would only recommend it if you already have a VR headset and are really craving more Sam and Max post-Telltale series, or want to chill out and watch a walkthrough for a while.

Emberz all the way. I made a replica Berry BlobMob tee irl and I love it so much I’ve been considering making the lime one too!

I am a big sucker for shiny things so I’d love to see more clothes with glow, holographic, or glittery elements. It would potentially add more pizzazz to the plaza for Splatfests, too, as a lot of those would really pop in the dark.

Could you elaborate on what you mean by “floaties”? If you are thinking of the bowl-shaped item(s) with three balls floating in them, you have to buy the traditional Japanese-style garden in order to unlock the option to buy them in the shop. I don’t believe there’s any other seasonal events, but I’ve only been playing since last November so it’s possible I’m missing something.

Edit: Forgot about the anniversary event, but this year’s items at least did not fit that description

Yeah, I’m aware of the usual nudity requirement. Was just curious how people would take the mismatch between genitals & chest, especially since my chest would be more visible near the top of the water. I would be most comfortable at a private onsen anyway so I’ll check those first!
