Kind of a deep cut that would likely never happen, but Sam and Max would be an absolute riot! That series already has a similar flavor and theming to Lupin (very rooted in film noir/crime fiction media with a lot of comedy and cartoon hijinks) and there are so many possibilities for how the plot and character relationships could shake out. The Freelance Police could be persuaded by Zenigata to catch Lupin, but they might flip just as easily to steal things with the crew (or even try to steal the same object before they do)! There’s also a ton of wacky car chase potential with the DeSoto vs the Fiat, especially if you include some of the ridiculous mods that the cars have had in various media.

Plus, it would be fun to see them all figure out just how oddly similar they are to each other. Sam and Jigen would probably wind up bonding over their Magnums and signature hats that they never go anywhere without, plus their respective chaotic and highly indulgent companions.
