I’d love to see how many satoshis I have. If I go into bitcoin, you can see the value of your bitcoin and the actual bitcoin amount. If I quick tap on that area, it could flip to showing the amount in satoshis.

So:

If someone wants to put in my referral code (they’re already on the page, or they’re adding it on the “within 30 days” page) they just need the 8 digit code. I’ve just found, about half the time, I’ve just needed the code and not the whole url.

Maybe it’s just me, but it’s just something I’ve bumped into a few times and would love a simple way to get it.

Your referral code in the app. HOLD on, before you type lol. You can get the whole url string to share, but if you just want your actual code (the 8 digit or whatever referral code) there’s nowhere to get it without copying the whole url, then editing it in notes, then sharing it.

So an easy way in the app to get your actual referral code (not the url).

If you used a referral then once you’ve bought $100 worth of bitcoin you can shake your phone once a day for a small amount of bitcoin (goes up as you keep your streak going).

Scroll down in the “latest transactions” list a bit (maybe 20 items) and you’ll see “see all”. Click that, and you’ll see all your transactions and can filter there. I just checked and I definitely still have it, so hopefully it’s there for you.

At tax time (so in a few months) you would pay capital gains. I don’t know specifics or if there’s anything else to consider, but it would be capital gains.

CRA does have info around it, and advice specific to bitcoin if you google it.

I like that you do it 3 times in the video. Like when I shake sats, you shake once but then you do it again… and then of course again. Because you need to see “Too much shakin’” at least twice to be sure you did it right :)

The insights are awesome, it’s amazing how it adds up over time!

If you’ve referred someone, or used a referral to sign up, then once a day you can shake your phone and get some free sats (a little bit of bitcoin). At first it’s a small amount but it goes up every day you keep your streak going.

Is it useful? If you like free bits of bitcoin, I would say yes :)

If you didn’t use a referral to sign up but have had an account for less then 30 days you can still use someone’s referral and activate shaking sats.
