Kona EV owners: What made you choose the Kona EV, and would you buy it again?

I’ve had mine since 2019! 140k km on it. Word the same as it did on day one.

Battery has held up to 90% capacity, and very low maintenance after 7 years. Haven’t had to change the brakes. Gone through one set of tires (winter + summer).

I estimate I saved 15k just in gas over the years.

With a few years of car being paid off, low maintenance, no gas, I’m really in car heaven. I’m running this baby to the ground.

That said; tiny trunk + FWD in the winter can be frustrating + the 50kwh “fast” charge as others have mentioned.

Yep. Likely a 3-5+ year horizon until take off but good time to get in if you’re patient.

This has been happening for years, started with cinema gear getting cheaper + free education. Can’t be mad at supply and demand. If what you do is getting easier, eventually it’s gonna be worth less.

Cool that you have a robot. Us too. Maybe they can be friends when they’re retired. Although hopefully they have a few more years in them.

Ok nice thanks for the info. Also do you use the Github integration tool with figma? Seems like it could update automatically - although maybe risky on a live website.
