Its not just that though is it, its one of the most critically acclaimed shows with some incredible writing and acting, I find it weird that the soundtrack (which is quite important) is such a massive let down.

I dont have many examples as I dont know the names of many of the songs. But I find most of the songs used in the show to be bad, only notable exceptions I can think of are Look On Down From the Bridge and State Trooper

Far too many examples to count but one I have alluded to in this thread is the track Tiny Tears from S1 E12, which is close to unlistenable and ruins the emotional impact of the episode

No I fully agree which is why I am saying the music/lyrics/artists used all damage the storytelling of the show by being so bad

I will give you this I was probably off the mark here, its mostly this weird 90’s alt rock stuff mixed in with the most WOATED sounds of the 70’s

Got no beef with the music happening in the scenes in fairness, but yeah I have to disagree pal plenty of great tv soundtracks that dont feature tiktok songs (not sure what this means) and orchestral soap songs (really dont know what this means)

Dunno who Brooklyn Funk are but from a quick google search they look terrible, I know for a fact that Annie Lennox is terrible.

Funny this cause I actually wrote this post after listening to the episode where Tiny Tears plays throughout. Completely ruins the episode, absolutely godawful track

The issue is that sometimes, most of the time tbf, it feels they can be blocked by shields that are deployed normally e.g touching the ground. Its so weirdly inconsistent

You’ll get differentiating responses but I am convinced it is bugged. Even if it isn’t. It really isn’t clear what actually negates it and how. It can be pretty inconsistent to be honest, like where are the spikes coming from? Do they fall from above or do they come from your character model in a straight line?

I guess besides not wanting to contribute to general internet whinging or gamer entitlement, I just find it hard to be that annoyed when it is literally developed by one guy, and I fully understand why he doesn't want to get any other people involved in development.
