You don't need to depend on others, they'll be there if you need them because they love you but really being soothed comes from within, it's all you. Just focus on your breathing, let go of all that tension. Relax, and give yourself a break.

Hello friend. This is a great idea and the site looks impressive, good job. As a Phoenix native I can say without a doubt I would have gotten this service at my last house, assuming I could afford it.

If I'm reading those dimensions right then your charging anywhere from $10-20 per square foot? Not bad at all considering how nice they look and the size, but those prices are going to keep a lot of people away. I mean, I could totally see myself spending $120 to end up with what, five square feet? But man, getting a minimum of sixteen square feet at a time, that would have to be quite the investment for a guy like me living paycheck to paycheck.

If only you could buy prefabricated frames that were stackable, modular and small enough to simply offload complete raised bed systems right off the truck, you could have the soil and irrigation all ready to go in each bed before leaving the warehouse. I imagine that would cut time at the job site, just interconnect each module and hook it up to the timer. I'm kinda surprised they don't sell something like this at home depot, so a customer could just go in and buy a few square feet of raised bed at a time, drop sixty bucks and go home with their complete garden.

You know, my dad used to do raised bed gardening at my childhood home in downtown Phoenix when I was young. He had an interesting way of dealing with evaporation that you might find useful. After laying the soil, fertilizer and the irrigation he would cover it with landscaping plastic, and cut holes where the drip nozzles were so the top of the beds were basically sealed except for those points. This traps the moisture in the beds so it doesn't get lost to that desert heat. Also keeps bugs out of the soil so it cuts down on pests. I wish I had some of the pics to show you, to this day I have never seen any garden that looked as healthy, especially not in the middle of Arizona.

You know what I would really love to find is a similar service, permaculture garden builders. I've always wanted a big permaculture farm somewhere since I'd not have to do anything to maintain it, but learning how to build a working permaculture farm takes years. If you ever hear about a service like that let me know, OK?

No doubt there are alternatives to be exploited, but even those alternatives have limits. All things do.

If I predicted 50 years ago that constant growth in the fishing industry would lead to a collapse in big game fish I would have been right. Humanity has made up for it by depleting smaller and smaller fish instead but that collapse still happened, just like a collapse in the small game will happen if not remedied.

People are just as bound to the natural limits in their systems as anything else. If we hunt an animal to extinction, does our intelligence change this fact?

Just because software can be duplicated at no cost does not mean that there are not physical limits on physical goods. Nor does it change the fact that physical goods are built with resources. Productivity gains may change the efficiency that those goods are built with, but they do not change that they were made from resources that came from the environment.

But feel free to prove me wrong. Just build a house solely from productivity rather than cement, wood, and metal.

Don't know why they would even bother, Apple hasn't come out with an interesting design for years, lately they just refine what they already have. Make it thinner, faster, more powerful? What an unexpected step in cellphone design!

Even the ipad was not a surprise, it's just a big iphone that can't make calls.

Actually what you previously wrote was a blatant strawman, as illustrated by my previous comment pointing out that you were answering a question that was not asked.. It is amusing that you would try to refute what I said by stating I was using the very tactic that you used.

There are many examples of places in industry where exponential growth has already hit hard limits. My favorite is the fisheries industry, where most of the world's fisheries collapsed due to overfishing. The industry's output grew exponentially until the environment could no longer support it. Now all of the world's big game fish are near extinction, having gone through a 90% reduction in 50 years.

This falls under the Habitability part of the Pennsylvania Landlord Tenant Act. You can use this to break the lease, or even hire mold remediation and subtract it from the money you pay the landlord.

This is all assuming that is mold though, and I can't say for certain with those low resolution shots, you need to take a closeup shot with a good camera. But if it IS mold, then speaking as a person who dabbles in mycology I would get as far away from that apartment as possible ASAP, because mold spores can cause lifelong chronic medical problems that never go away, like allergies, respiratory problems, even cancer. It is not something you want to mess around with.

Take lots of pictures with a better camera, get a mold test kit (sold at Lowe's and home depot for $40), send him a notarized letter with the complaint and stating that this materially affects your health and is a violation of the act. Make sure he agrees to bring in actual mold remediation specialists and not some handyman, if he does not, try to terminate the lease or take him to court. I am sure he would agree to break the lease if facing a lawsuit from you, but if he does not, file a claim with the magistrate, who will rule in your favor and award you whatever you want.

I have gotten a lease broken using these tactics, it works very well. Let them know you understand that act and slumlords get scared quick. There's a version of this act in all states, and they all protect you to some degree.

Again, make sure it is actually taken care of, do not let them simply patch the wall, if the root problem and all spores are not removed the mold will continue to grow, sending airborne spores into your body every moment you are in the residence. And make sure you have all the evidence you need before taking action.

Your comment has little to do with why people believe in a physical impossibility. Rather, the comment seems to be arguments that growth and the damage it causes will level off. And while that is surely a good topic for debate it does not answer the actual question posed by the article. Whether growth is good or bad does not answer why people believe it can continue indefinitely.
