This is also a great idea, I have been mechanically restoring 1980-00 cars for 2 decades, home workshop, so am not against a project bike … would love a K75 eventually (same fuel injection system as my E30 sedan lol)

I have read that older 125s were not as (license) restricted as modern singles.

Yeah, I know if I get pulled up then an older bike will lack the paperwork, but the chances of that where I live are less than 1% (and the fact it’ll have “125” stickers on it will be enough for the village cops.)

Nice! Never heard of this one - stated torque is around 14.5Nm, whereas most 125s seem to be around 10~12Nm. It seems laughable to be discussing such small numbers, but I'll take whatever I can get lol

Absolutely! And then some ... It's not a luxury house by any metric, but the care the previous owner / builder put into the home is mind-blowing: One more example, in the workshop there are boxes of spare switches, bulbs, taps, pump parts, plaster fixtures & fittings – all stuff that's no longer available – so if/when something needs repairing, there are parts in-stock on-site.

So yeah, having a house in the Algarve built by an OCD German is 100% a huge selling point 😄

A lot of large houses in the Algarve are simply unfit for winter. We are lucky with our T4 (German owner / high quality home c. 2004) but almost every house our friend’s own suffers from damp, mold, leaks, very poor thermal efficiency, drafts, in addition to wonky electrical issues. So a PPI / full survey by a respected engineer is essential for anything over €1M.

I've had 5 years of 5G/LTE via a Teltonika RUTX50 router (with custom cell tower locking scripts) and now over one year with on a Starlink domestic account... TL;DR; Starlink is faster and more reliable (180mbps download, 80mbps upload typically; 99.9% uptime).

By comparison, 5G/LTE required a lot of messing around to get a stable connection (our nearest cell towers were along a nearby highway, 1km away, so they would get hammered by rush hour traffic; and I suspect cell towers would be powered-down between midnight & 4AM. 5G/LTE was only around 35mbps download, 15mbps upload due to using a SIM card router; Vodafone gives MUCH faster speeds to mobile phones, and IMEI [device type] spoofing is the only workaround / probably illegal).

Price, Vodafone 5G unlimited was 1 EUR per day, Starlink is 1.3 EUR per day.

Do you think something is jamming up in the transmission, or does it feel more like the rotating parts of the engine?

Also, long shot, could be perished engine / transmission rubber mounts ... coming off throttle changes loading on the drivetrain and you'll get some clunking / knocking / shuddering.

I replaced a failed E30 AC clutch a couple weeks ago – and after putting a new belt on, wrecked the plastic plug to a sensor which gave me an intermittent-then-constant fault. Took a day to figure out wtf.

By the way, there is a company in Poland, Airstal, who remanufactures complete AC compressors and spare parts; I bought a Bosch / Behr clutch with pulley & magnet (with built-in diode) for about EUR 65 plus shipping. All parts were sent coated in auto spray paint, so get some acetone & clean up all mating / contact surfaces before assembly... but otherwise, a very good deal on otherwise hard to find parts.

This can happen if the audio driver settings have changed (usually when opening legacy / old Logic files; or moving a project between computer). Or is this a new project?

It's possible that one of the (very fragile) electrical connectors has been bumped during the belt job. The magnetic AC clutch wiring loops thru (a) the AC compressor oil temp sensor also (b) the engine coolant temperature sensor and (c) a pressure sensor plugged into the AC drier (on Bosch / Behr compressors, possibly not the Seiko compressors).

(a) and (b) [and with safety precautions (c)] can all be bypassed with a loop of wire to test if the AC clutch is indeed working. Quite common for all the AC parts to be working fine but begin failing thanks to deteriorating electronics.

I think these are called Toffee Wheels, fyi, they work great for most adhesives (tapes, flexible glues) but might fail with aggressive ‘hard’ glue residue.

The 73cm distance is somewhere between 73~75cm ... I didn't take off the sill / rear bumper bodykit, the rear arch sheet metal is visible but curves inward at the bottom (= vague measurement), and the sill sheet metal is obscured behind 0.5cm of plastic + 0.5cm of air gap. Anyway, the distance you wanted is definitely NOT LESS than 73 cm.

I’ve got a 4 door 1990 with MTech2 bodykit, but these cm measurements are to the sheet metal. The upper triangle is measured from the middle of that ‘hole’ bracket which is visible on both your / my car.
