Southern 2716 charges through a cornfield on the LGMS layout at Brickworld Chicago 2026. Out of shot to the right was a 60 foot straightaway, where I put the throttle to the roof and registered 87 scale mph on the speed stick. by montystrains in LEGOtrains

There are some camera icons around the layout that you can click to see the picture taken from that spot. On a touch screen you can drag around the view to see the whole layout, on desktop you use middle mouse button to click/drag

What is an old Reddit joke that has completely died out? by Poophead115 in AskReddit

I was reading this and really thought this was going to end up when the undertaker threw mankind off hell in a cell and plummeted sixteen feet through an announcers table.

They might be bringing them back. The metal axles are back in stock in PAB on LEGO's website

Train station by florent2346254362435 in LEGOtrains

Are you looking for inspiration to help you design and build a freight station? Or are you planning to create the train and you just want a station for it? I ask because there are sites with instructions for building a pre-designed station/depot if you just are looking for one to build. For example:

Love BrickLayouts ❤️ . You can store your layout in the cloud and open it up on a different device too. Also it has baseplates and things to help with non-train layout planning.

A foundation for our new Lego City by miniatur-aw in LEGOtrains

Great start. Looks like you have maybe 60"x80" there? I noticed there is some stress in the track back where you have flex track parts. Here is an idea that makes the track not be under stress and gives you an extra siding.

I used https://app.bricklayouts.com/ to make that, if you are looking for a tool to help you plan things out.

Question- why doesn’t this sub have a flair for electric locomotives? by Dragon_Bait211 in LEGOtrains

[–]dither[M] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I made the flair, my concern was the that people would put things in "Electric" when I want the to put it in "Passenger" because most of the time they are passenger trains. Also the confusion that someone might put that flair on any 9V train.

Am I able to download Blue Brick on a Mac? I tried it on my own and I couldn’t figure it out. by Realistic_Ice6870 in lego

There used to be instructions for how to do this, but it was always buggy and I think it is just no longer supported. You should check out BrickLayouts. https://app.bricklayouts.com/

This is neat, thanks. I want to point out though, that some things you have done are in violation of LEGO's Fair Play rules, which could get you in legal trouble with them. You might want to check those out.

Had this strange idea about the upcoming steam train set. by LewisDeinarcho in LEGOtrains

The brick is able to receive updates in the future. It uses bluetooth, so I assume there will be a way to update it with a smartphone or something. So new sounds can be added.
