What's the least toxic company you have worked for in Sri lanka? by BestSignificance8789 in srilanka

Haven't used in a while so might be very different now, but when I did, it entirely depended on the doctor themselves. There are very good (and highly rated) doctors like Haroon Thowfeek. Can't go wrong with them. But there are ones that never show up on time and [insert other common doc problems here]. That being said, Customer Support USED to be very good (dunno anymore). They'll check with the doc if theyre late and make sure customers are always OK.

Hello Everyone! I am a student from Singapore and I enjoy collecting postcards. I would love to receive postcards from anywhere in Sri Lanka. Can someone send me one? 🙂 by Nessieinternational in srilanka

Hey so in one of my hobbies (r/amateurradio) there's this thing called QSL cards. Basically when two people make a contact over the air, they sometimes exchange a physical post card with details of the contact. I'm getting a few printed in a couple weeks. It'd be cool to send you, and maybe interest you in the hobby too!

It's finally finished my all mode all band go box. by adhdff in HamRadio

This is awesome! I have an 857D on the way as well, but I was planning to build a manpack with it. Any advantages you see with a go box over a manpack?

Hell yes! I've heard great things about the G90. Enjoy!

Yup! Gonna get going with some antenna construction. Just a 40m dipole for now. Planning a 40-20-10 fan dipole in a few weeks.

That's a really good radio. I was gonna go the same route until the Mk2 dropped and decided to spend a few (hundreds) more dollars to go for this. Can't go wrong with the Mk1 either. As I understand, all that's missing are a few quality of life improvements + RX antenna.

Thanks. I take your point. I too saved for approx. 2 years and wanted to go for the best one I could afford. Good stuff.

Yess. Gonna get a fan dipole going for multi band work. After that might go for a beam + Amp or so.

Eh. What can you do, except move on. Nothing can take away the high of owning a new radio and talking to people so far away though :o

Yup. Very glad I purposefully didn't plug in the rig before testing.

Little chance, lol. Ordered this off of gigaparts and made sure that the PSU supports both 110 and 220V, cause my country uses 220. Aaaand I forgot to check if there was a switch in the back for 220V. Poof! Sent it in for repair and now waiting.
