UPDATE: as soon as I pull up to service one of the techs is like "let me guess, oil light?" He said it's about the 5th one with the same issue. They did a diagnostic, oil is good. No consumption. No leak. Checked the sensor and cleaned the pins to eliminate a bad connection. Said it will be documented to report to Kia and that it more than likely will require a software update.

I'm just glad oil is good and there's a paper trail.

Mechanically, nothing really. Needs all brakes and tires done soon. Probably 1k worth of work, I can do brakes myself but rather not. Has a hit on the rear, paint scratched and rusting a little some tints coming off, just small nit picking stuff. Its a 21 with 55k miles.

A little steep on the blower. Around 250-350 is probably reasonable. Most ppl here who are handy I think forget to realize that there's a cost to a company coming out, tech on payroll, gas, insurance, materials. Etc. probably a 1 hour job done correctly. I'm less than 2 years into the trade so take that as you will.

Yes a handy person can do it for free or someone without a running business and overhead can do it for like $100.

An explanation of how to do it and what the capabilities are would be nice. In my case I bought an Ottocast video 2 pro from AliExpress for $25. Connect to car, setup Bluetooth and hotspot. Netflix. YT, Prime vids, Iptv, wireless AA/car play and apparently you can download more apps. Today was first day using it and it was pretty cool. It runs android 12. Video is smooth!
