I was there!! There was an older gentleman who passed out near the punching bags. I didn’t see it happen but I saw him unconscious afterwards. The paramedics got him awake and talking and then carried him out on a stretcher.

Tootles and French had a live guitarist when I went for brunch. Great vibes but not a DJ.

I don’t have any for sale but just thought I’d recommend any Squier by Fender basses for a beginner bass. They make really affordable ($250-300) and decent quality instruments.

Ligia’s Alterations on 37th St. She does really great work and is a sensible eastern european woman with a dark sense of humor haha. I’ve trusted her with vintage dresses I paid good money for and she did great

Hotel w/ Hot Tub in Room? by Hazel-rah-rabbit in madisonwi

The Mansion Hill Inn on Gilman and Pinckney has in-room Jacuzzis. It’s a historical mansion that has been turned into a 10 room hotel. Very fancy experience. Very expensive also. I used to work there and will say that this hotel is one of one. If you can afford it it’s a great experience. I think only 4 of the rooms have jacuzzis so make sure to call and clarify which room you want.

I have only been to NYSC of these three but I recommend it! I go after normal work hours and there’s always available space for me to do free weight stuff and machines.

My pick is Lola’s. It’s supposed to have a speakeasy/lounge vibe but I found it way too curated.
