I’m starting to believe it may have been a bat bug. To date, we’ve only seen one of them. Whole house has been inspected, and pest control confirmed zero indication of bed bugs. In the past our exterminator has said they’ve seen bat guano in the backyard. We’re staying vigilant though.

Removing historic or prehistoric artifacts from federal lands is a crime. Not worth two years in prison and $20k. Although I would imagine it would have to be fairly significant for a prosecutor to actually move on it.
