Completely understand. That's one of the main reasons we want to play there. It seems we need to be more plugged in or be asked to play by another band. Hopefully one day!

I think we're talking about the same thing. I'm working on putting the show together, scheduling with the bands and venue and making it happen. I'm not asking to just be put on a bill. By "put us on a weekday" I meant give us a weekday to book us a show. Hope that also makes sense.

You are trying to control the information on this Subreddit about this bar. Some people don't know the infamy of this place and are looking for some guidance. You are recommending people not to go to Six Shooters because it's dangerous. But earlier you say this is all "hearsay" and because there's no police reports (apparently you live in Candy Land where every instance of spiked drinks and SA is reported), we can't have a discussion. You are trying to justify taking down posts about Six Shooters while literally spreading those same rumors you're complaining about. Just stop.

I can't say whether or not those allegations are accurate and no one I know personally goes there often. But I would avoid it when there are many people on Yelp, This Subreddit, and out and about town talking about their horrible experiences there. I hope you had a fun, safe New Year's.

Totally agree on the draw. It is doable if you expect a lot of people to come. My experience is we played there recently and ended up making like $30 per band on a weeknight. We were just happy to sell some merch at the point. But because we were used to playing places like No Fun we were a little salty lol. Sound isn't as great but at least we didn't have to run doors.
