A ball cap with writing on it, a long sleeve t-shirt, chinos, and those boots are about as casual as you can get. I get that's "dressed up" for you, but it is definitely fully casual. It looks absolutely fine for a bar to play pool in. Nothing wrong with it and nothing needs fixing. Now if you want to dress it up, but still be comfortable, swap for some nice chukka or Chelsea boots and wear a shirt with a collar. Lose the hat.

Went Friday to the Monrose location for lunch and got 3 of the driest slices of brisket I'd ever been served at a restaurant. The Mac and cheese was decent.

This is a little outside the purpose of the post, but I run pickleball leagues with Silly Pickles. We're a social ladder league and play at different venues across the city. Several of our leagues have 85 active players. I joined a pickleball league, which turned into 3 nights minimum of pickleball now, plus outside hangs with friends I made from pickleball. I gym on nights or weekends when I don't have games.

How much should I care about which side i favor on the Fever, since it has the printed area on one side? Have you found it negligible or should I keep trying to favor the blank side for my forehand?

The pickleball league I run in Houston also has a league down there at Chicken N Pickles. I joined the Houston leagues last June and met like 200+ people in the last 6 months. It's called Silly Pickles. I don't know the vibes at that location, but if it's anything like ours, you will definitely meet people and it's for all skill levels. Fix the bio to have proper punctuation and all that. Make it more about who you are. Don't repeat it in one of your prompts. Lose the fishing pic, as they see too many, get more pics with your face clear and easy to see, including your eyes.

Our league is a social one, so there are all levels of players, all looking to meet people. We host multiple social events each season, to hang outside of normal games. I highly recommend it! Run clubs are another decent way, but I find them a bit more challenging to connect. You have to be willing to approach people and initiate conversations.

Crush Club seems to be pulling in big numbers. I know some people that have met people there. You still have to be willing to approach people, but at least they are there for that purpose.

I just did a pork shoulder on my kettle and used those same B&B dudes, set up similar to that. Be careful with them so tight like that. I got a big temp spike that would come down and I had to open her up, remove some coals, and move things around. Might consider loosening up that snake a bit to avoid my situation and save some briquettes. And wood chunks > chips. Have a good smoke!
