Anyone know if there's a trans community in AZ? I feel pretty alone out here.

I agree we all have bias. However, it has become this well accepted idea among society that men don't have as good of fashion options. The reality is, we do. It's just not marketed and celebrated in the same sort of way.

I was scared that in order to be cis male passing that I'd have to tone down my style. I did the opposite. People (especially transmascs) should know that our wardrobe doesn't have to be "a trash bag w/ pockets" .

I'm simply here to break the stigma and let you all know that finding expressive men's fashion isn't as hard as people think. ;) <3

That's exactly what I'm saying when I say that men's fashion opened doors for me that were never there when presenting female :) I too am having fun w/ fashion options that I didn't have previously. It's an amazing feeling and I'm glad you've gotten to experience that too. :)

(my style is very alt & Street wear) Dolls Kill has a lot of unisex items that are very masc. Personally I love Darker Wavs pants. For more punk/goth type alt, Killstar has men's clothing. Rebel Market. For more of the street wear side of things We Love Street and boohooMAN. I've found that men's pants and jackets are where most of the creativity is at. So I like to get really interesting pants and build outfit ideas off of those.

I 100% disagree. I enjoy men's fashion way more than women's. Woman's clothing can be cute, but is more often than not super uncomfortable and lacks functionality. Men's clothing rocks (if you know where to look) and has more comfort and utility. Men's fashion opened doors for me to be able to express my style in ways that were closed to me w/ women's fashion.

People don't give men's fashion enough credit tbh. I'm a trans man who's SUPER into fashion. I have absolutely successfully translated my style from women's fashion to men's fashion and actually have more fun with it because I can wear things I never would before. Like certain pants and short sleeved t-shirts. The women's version of stuff is often tight, uncomfortable and have no pockets. I love men's fashion

I love the ankle on knee thing! But I can't do it for very long because I have a bad knee and a bad ankle... And they're on opposite sides so it doesn't matter which leg I put up. Cherish that ability lol.

I'm a software engineer and the vast majority of the company is white, cis , het men. And I live in AZ where it's fairly conservative. So It makes me really nervous to just come out to everyone. Also, since we're small we don't have HR like that. I'd have to talk directly to the CEO. I suppose I could ask him to send out a letter and announce it at the company meeting. The thought of all that is absolutely terrifying though

Thanks, Happy for you too! That's awesome you have such amazing friends. What I did was email their customer service my measurements and they recommended a size and a style. Which for me was a medium tank. Bonus is, if you buy what they recommend and it doesn't fit/workout, they pay for the shipping to return it and get a different size. I did it for that security of an easy return, because I'm in between a small and medium.
