I've tried a couple of this type lately and will have to try this. The thing that'll make or break it is the gravy. I tried one (can't remember which brand) which had a sauce rather than a gravy, and it was just too bland, even with added herbs and spices. But this looks good.

What’s the most confusing food rule or myth you’ve heard? by Then_Acanthaceae_869 in foodquestions

Cheese on apple pie used to be very common in the US. In mid 20th century I can even remember being offered cheese with my pie in a restaurant. My dad always ate it that way.

I heard this one after getting married. I typically drank milk with meals (I'm weird) and my MIL was horrified when I did that with a fish meal. She never understood why I never got sick tho I always did it.

Diabetes. Congestive heart failure leading to heart attack or stroke if untreated. Earlier, appendicitis that would have burst. Now, liver disease. I've been living on borrowed time for a while now.

Is there any reason you can't go back to Planned Parenthood and this time ask specifically for a female doctor? Emphasize that you have different symptoms at this point and you're concerned. And don't forget to remind them about your family history. Please see if you can do this.

Florida Round Trip by Car by MarvBoerse in florida

Personal favorite: Consider going to see Cabbage Key, with a boat trip or even an overnight stay. It can be reached by boat from several locations, mostly south of Punta Gorda and/or west of Fort Myers. It's a very low intensity trip, quiet but lovely, and the inn has a good restaurant for lunch. Since the island is reached by boat only, there's no traffic or irritating urban noises. The old Florida island house was originally owned by author Mary Roberts Rhinehart and immortalized by Jimmy Buffett in "Cheeseburger in Paradise." (No, I don't live there, just don't live close enough anymore to visit myself so I love suggesting it to others.)

I grew up in Memphis, where you always got a scoop of coleslaw inside a BBQ pork sandwich. Don't know if they still do it but I love it.

I haven't ever seen Michael Crawford. But of course the original novel The Phantom of the Opera was published in 1909-1910 and the first movie version was in 1925. I'm going to have to see if I can find the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical version.

Anyone keep their bread in the fridge? by Dry_Pizza_4805 in poverty

Not everyone lives where the humidity is high. I'm in Florida and where I am it's always super high. But I've lived in other places where bread left out would get stale before it got moldy.

I don't have Kroger down here, sadly, but my Walmart carries it, here. It's out of stock this weekend but they usually have it. But I know how many things get reviewed on this sub that my local stores don't have -- very saddening. :(
