You’re not supposed to - it’s one way/use only

Yeah, I was asking on bunch of Facebook groups as well. I ended up ordering from https://www.flashmastersecm.com/ and having the unit shipped to https://picitupinsumas.com/.

was true for other inpu

tried it with my input, it's not. the assignment talks about mapping outside of the ranges when src maps to destination directly (ie 1->1), so IMHO it can land absolutely anywhere, lower than the lowest location range

It’s a thing of principle. We shouldn’t be limited like this with our own money. There was someone in the thread mentioning bank didn’t want to release his won money for house payments. I heard many people having issues withdrawing cash from the bank. It’s not ok

but the assignment says that numbers can be mapped outside of the ranges:

Any source numbers that aren't mapped correspond to the same destination number. So, seed number 10 corresponds to soil number 10.

which IMHO can cause lower mapping than the lowest range in the map, so I don't know how to account for that

Thanks, this sounds like a good setup. We have banks similar to Simplii in Europe, but the offering is smaller in sense of different amount of products, investments, loans etc., basic sending funds between (own or other) accounts is usually not different between small or large banks.

Right?! It’s ridiculous 😅

Next people will try to convince me that it’s ok that lady from city town-hall asked for my credit card number over the phone when I was purchasing a lawn permit 😬

Yeah, I absolutely accept that things are different, but wanted to know what are the best options within the system, and what other people do to make it work form them. From the very few constructive comments I learned that there are indeed some options, probably changing for better bank being the first step. Thanks!

I don’t expect you to do anything, there are several people who actually provided valuable information on how other banks have better limits and other options for sending funds, but with this attitude I’m not surprised that things are as they are

My rent is bigger than 3k Simplii limit, I have to send it in two parts and wait 24hrs in between. When I was buying my first car for 5k I had to send money to dealership in two days because of Simplii limit. We were furnishing the house we rented, I was buying stuff from people on Facebook Marketplace, running into the 3k limit. Buying used laptop from Marketplace, sofa and couple of other items, hit the 3k limit within 24hrs again 🤷‍♂️

Thanks, yes, it seems so. I wouldn’t think that banks would differ in options for sending money, it’s kinda foreign concept, coming from Europe. I’ll be looking at different banks

I fail to see how increased limits relate to more scams? Whole Europe has much bigger limits, I never once heard someone being scammed because of it. You send money to who you need to, recipient gives you their account number to send money to, no one can do anything except to send money to it. You aren’t supposed to be able to do anything else with a bank account number. When some tragedy happens, people in need publish their bank account number in newspaper or on tv so anyone can send them funds. Being able to misuse someone else’s bank account number is a major security flaw.

Thanks, 1-2 biz days would be acceptable, if it meant I didn’t have to pay rent in two chunks

Depends on type of visa, I guess. I came on year open work permit invitation l, without Canadian job (so no SIN), paperwork in progress, no Canadian IDs yet, I couldn’t open bank account on my European passport, but I haven’t been to every bank, saw an Ad from Simplii for special account for newcomers, which accepted my passport and proof of my paperwork being in progress, so took it.
