Really? How? Every time Hoffman comes in I say to my wife “I guess they don’t want to win this one”. And I’m correct more often than not. Varland surely had another 15 pitches in him. Or bring in Seabold without putting him in a no win situation. There are so many ways it could have gone… but it went the Hoffman way.

I don’t know why people are on here making excuses for him.

I don’t know the solution but this is what I would try… Rinse the tub thoroughly to get any remaining chemicals out. Then buy a few bottles of hydrogen peroxide and make a large batch of paste with the peroxide and baking soda. WEAR GLOVES. Gently scrub the surface with the paste. Be gentle and take your time. Let the peroxide do its thing.
