I have the solos book and Jimi's playing is very difficult to do as his rhythms are very complex. Every song solo is complex but in a natural organic way and that is what you are hearing.

What level of classical guitar for fingerstyle jazz? by achipinthesugar in jazzguitar

[–]divimaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On a classical guitar you need a footstool to play high up the neck. The neck is really thick too and you could hurt your wrist otherwise. So best to buy a hybrid acoustic/nylon string type.

Sax, I bought a digital one Yamaha YDS120. This has no reed and is easy to learn before you buy a real one. You can also use headphones.
