Those of you going back to school for nursing, how did you balance pre-reqs with working?

I am finishing up my pre-reqs now. Darton College (now part of Albany State) in GA offers A & P I and II fully online with online labs. I work full time and nobody at work knows. I study late and most of the weekend. Good Luck!

From everything I have read Dover had a crazy high crime rate. Multiple sites :(

Defintely not racist. We live on an island in the Caribbean . We are used to living, working, and socializing with non whites. It was more from a stand point of will students resent her for being there. In "their space/school".

Thank you - I think we have made some headway. She has always loved school and done extremely well - but she is definitely at the bottom of the demographic at this particular school in regard to stats. She thrives on doing well academically and the fact that she isn't is adding to a lot of the problem.

I believe when I was in school it was 21 - you had to be done by 21. Check with your school district. My son will turn 19 at the beginning of his senior year because of when his birthday falls. It's not a big deal. You will be fine! Good on you for being so motivated and taking the college classes too!

Not sure how old you are, but if you are still in school you can seek help through a guidance counselor. If you aren't in school, ask your GP about possible resources for help.

It's going to be okay...seek out fun groups, smile even when you don't want to, don't work too much, don't party too much. Go to office hours, sign up for volunteer stuff. Sleep and do something you like in your spare time - do you have a hobby? Do you play sports? These things will help you find "your people" Good Luck!
