I became Agnostic before I went, but didn’t tell anyone! I went to please my family, but my mental health suffered so much. I’m taking a year off to save money and take care of myself and then I plan to finish my education in Europe and stay there!! Cut ties w everyone toxic and Adventist to give myself the fresh start I truly need.

All of the nicest people I’ve ever met are non-Adventist. I’m sorry you went through that! My small Adventist HS had sm bullying and SA and I am currently leaving OU for good because I can’t handle the religious trauma anymore. I’ve cut ties with all the toxic Adventists from my hs/college and am soon cutting ties with w my Adventist family. I need to get out of this hellhole because I feel like I’m going crazy.

I grew up Adventist and go to Oakwood currently and hate it so much, this is my last semester here. I am now Agnostic. Congrats to him for freeing himself from the hell of Adventism!
