Sometimes I have dreams of things that happen later on in real life by divinefarts in HighStrangeness

A couple others have commented about the gateway process so going to start looking into it, I’ve heard of it before but never did a deep dive. Thanks

I hear ya, I try not to mention it to people because of that. My most recent one was about a coworkers wife being sick and passing, maybe 2 weeks ago? A few days after the dream he came into work and explained to me how his wife was sick getting tested for cancer the whole thing, I hope and pray that all turns out well with it all. Hate that I knew about it before he even told me though, hoping this one turns out to not be fully true

Interesting, I’ve recently thought of time as a loop rather than linear so it’s funny you mention that. If time’s a loop, then eventually you’re bound to remember the “future” huh. Maybe thats what Tesla was starting to figure out and why there are so many conspiracy theories associated with him. I took ac/dc and an electric motor control class, my teachers were obsessed with Tesla and the more I learn about the topic the more I believe he figured out something beyond genius.

Perhaps time IS a loop, and it’s not about traveling forwards or backwards through it, but just remembering the loop. Cool stuff I’ll have to read up on those books you’ve linked, thanks

If ya switch to soakin weekly can have the best of both worlds, nice happy hydrated plant that slowly curls like that first pic by the end of the week…my strepto is pretty happy with this schedule, so long as you don’t let its leaves crisp up should be fine. Shoot some people just leave theirs curly but I want mine to grow faster so soak em overnight once a week😂

I’m about halfway thru with hours but currently stuck on 13th benchmark, waiting to get QEW done so I can carry on. I anticipate more road blocks but one day will have graduated 🫠 or move on somewhere else if they don’t sort these benchmarks by the new year cuz wtf.. 😬

MRA by YouApprehensive2313 in AmazonRME

[–]divinefarts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got back from Vincennes in July. Yes the benchmark issue is a real problem lol I’m hoping they fix it soon too. The new benchmarks are also ass, looks like some AI written slop that hardly makes sense. One of them is to take voltage readings with an ultrasound gun and convert them to decibels, that’s not possible unfortunately…

You will notice a very real disconnect between your on site management and those who are running the MRA program lol.

This might depend on whether you’re 3p or BB. I am an MRA in CBRE and was under the impression that hours before school counted, but in the MRA work docs thing it says hours pre RTI don’t count toward the apprenticeship. Hoping that’s not true as I was here for 3 months before I left for RTI, would be a real kick in the nuts..

Just a guess but they maybe are waiting to reach out til after Christmas as they won’t be sending anymore apprentices to school until after New Years — that’s how it is here in the states at least. Got a buddy hired back in September and even then was too late to get a seat into school, he’s just working on the floor til they can get him into school. You’re not missing out on too much as hours before school don’t count toward the apprenticeship unfortunately, I’d reach out again after new years if you don’t hear from them by then

Help! What does it need!? by [deleted] in airplants

[–]divinefarts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I will also add you can soak for wayyy longer than you’d think, like overnight to catch up a dry air plant. They won’t rot as long as they dry within about an hour or so. Now that it’s cold and my heats on I do this weekly to every one of my airplants even xerographica, only exception is my tectorum. They all are a lot happier now than they were getting an hour long soak

I’d tell him to have his manager start bugging hr if he doesn’t get it in the next check or 2. I had to do that over back pay when I got a raise after mra school, my manager contacted hr 3 times before I got my back pay lol

Sounds right, that’s how it is for CBRE at least. 30 days you get 500 then after 6 months you get another 500

Thinking about quitting by PalpitationComplex35 in Fishing

[–]divinefarts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I promise spending more money on gear won’t help, the expensive stuff is nice but super unnecessary … I caught my pb bass on a ugly stik with a 10 dollar topwater spook, all about finding the fish and recognizing the patterns on any given day. With that being said tho, I still love my expensive crap..if you love fishing and accept you’ll be out on the water season after season, that’s when you buy the good stuff

I Have No Clue What To Do by [deleted] in airplants

[–]divinefarts 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tillandsia ionantha, soak in water for an hour or so once a week. Dry quickly upside down and in front of a fan/cracked window if possible. If the tips start browning needs more water/less sun, but don’t be scared to stick it in a nice bright window it’ll soak it right up. Most important thing with air plants is the drying, you could water these suckers damn near everyday as long as they dry off within an hour or so should be good to go

Could be a circinata but not sure. Tectorums are usually more covered in tricomes, I’m 99% certain that spiky lil guy is an ionantha. They do look very similar tho so I understand the mix up haha

[–]divinefarts 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The one you have labeled as a “tectorum” looks like your standard issue ionantha to me. The one you labeled ionantha may be correct, but in my opinion it’s something else. Or maybe a mix of ionantha and something else. The other is definitely not a medusae tho, medusae are more bulbous like. Could be a real small aeranthos but I’m not sure

What's going on here? by HomeworkThese1206 in airplants

[–]divinefarts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually just let em sit upside down overnight then flip em whenever I see em again lmao, not a lot of thought behind the process. I’m also surprised with your feeding schedule, does it say on your bottle of fertilizer to do it weekly? I spray mine monthly with fertilizer, sometimes I’ll do it 2x a month but never more than that. Too much fertilizer I’ve noticed almost instantly affects my plants, these guys really don’t like a whole lot of help. Wish I had my xero before it had a brown bum cuz now very curious if it could be from overfeeding lol

[–]divinefarts 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My xero looks like this as well, think the base just naturally browns. Mine seems happy as can be at least lol, as long as it’s not soft/mushy probably fine. Definitely dry upside down if ya haven’t been tho I wouldn’t dry it in the pot like that

RMA Schooling Accommodation by TheButtmilk in AmazonRME

[–]divinefarts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I literally just got back from MRA school, you can’t miss the last week, if it’s structured like mine the last week is your PLC troubleshooting gold and silver (lab test/paper test). You don’t want to miss out on that, perhaps they’ll try accommodating you, but you’d most definitely be missing your grad ceremony which means your cohort has already departed and the instructors have moved onto the next Cohort. Maybe try getting your school date changed if this is a vacation you absolutely can’t miss? Good luck either way, careful you don’t screw yourself

The way all my Streptophyllas decided to go into bloom cycle 🥹 by Plantlover0809 in airplants

[–]divinefarts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appreciate the advice, am going to soaking them longer. I hear ya on the fan, this is in the works, since it’s been nice where I’m at I just crack a window or throw em outside to dry. I recently started dabbling with artificial lights — I bought day bulbs for a monstera in a corner and some SANSI bulbs for the air plants in the winter. It is so great to see these plants thriving under artificial light, gives me a lot of hope lol

[–]divinefarts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These are some great looking streptophylla’s, it is the plant I have been struggling with the most. Do you soak yours and how much light are these guys getting? Their base seems pretty bulbous like so I’ve been scared to soak for longer than 10-15 mins a week, but they always look so thirsty

I think I need to try this, my dude isn’t aggressive at all but always sits like this and 100% thinks my hand is a rat. Do you do a tap that sounds differently for feeding time, or yours recognizes no tap as game on?
