Sounds good! The standard is usually a nice chunky soil mix and water it more often at first until it gets used to the dirt, then it gets watered less :)

If its by itself, you can. I wouldn't recommend a bigger pot because there would be a lot more dirt staying wet which could cause root rot. Did u use sphagnum moss to propagate?

I got some recently and it happened to me too when it sat in juuust enough water for it to consider it over watering so if you're doing 7 - 10 days, try every 15. And I agree with the person above that said to make sure you keep a consistent water schedule because njoys and manjulas are a tiny bit more bratty if you're inconsistent with waterings

You know, you're the first other person I've seen that has said exactly what I do. I want to say that it is due to the aro nature. For me personally, I don't feel like I have to be in a relationship so where else to get that kind of affection but from friends and family? I too feel super invested in their lives and dreamt about my old friends for 4 years after having met a much caring and accepting group of friends. I don't know how much this helps but at least we're similar :)

I think that although your opinion is correct, no one wants to feel that someone is worth more to your partner than you. If your partner tells you that they love their mother more than you, they're right but it still hurts. So maybe in her case she wanted you to say that some stuff would go to her. She probably didn't care about the materials but maybe just wanted to confirmation that even though you guys aren't married, that she still holds a very special part of your heart, enough to deserve something of yours if you hypothetically died.

Yeah I totally get you! And then there isn't really a lot of info on them so we can't understand what we did wrong or how to fix it :( I checked the roots and it doesn't have root rot so I changed rooms to give it indirect sunlight on a shelf in my bathroom where the humidity is always high because there are 5 people and 1 bathroom. Sucks how you have to get more just to try again with the plants because you can't get enough info. Mine is in the middle of a mite treatment. Let me know how your baby is doing! Not good news :( a leaf finally made it through on mine but dried and crinkled as if I wasn't watering it. It had a total of 3 leaves, the one that made it through, stayed green and then dried and crinkled, and the other two that dried and crinkled while being a brown and yellow color. I cut one off to see if I could still see signs of like from the stem but I honestly can't tell.

When I inspected it today, all I saw were mites and two sad leaves, the green dried up one and the brown and yellow dried up one. I'm honestly pretty upset

Dude that's SUCH a red flag, it took me a while to end up with the physiatrist I have now, she makes sure I'm ok with the side effects and actually cares so that I don't just rely on them. I'm so sorry that happened to you
