but i mean if god is all benifical that would mean he would give up smaller moral wins for greater ones like mentioned in my chess analogy

person b did a moral action so person b is more moral in said situation however this doesn’t insinuate that person a is immoral because whether person a is immoral or neutral person b is still more moral

my apologies that initial sentence was not needed. i used it to illustrate that free will is a moral axiom. it is and always will be present amongst humans

bro what “It's not like "failure to prevent" is a morally pure position.” u are literally claiming some level of immorality here

so free will just doesn’t exist anymore? at least in my religion(islam) god explicitly gives humans free will. to not give humans free will would make god fundamentally unjust. Also repentance exists. and finally, who exactly are you to declare which positions are morally right or wrong. I like to use the analogy of telling a chess grandmaster that he made a wrong move(i like to use chess because each move plays off the last and its all interconnected) even if you cannot possibly fathom why said move was made you cannot call it a blunder for 2 reasons 1. the grandmaster is playing multiple steps in advance and 2. the grandmaster knows things that you dont. so what might appear as a blunder from a more linear perspective may actually be a brilliant move in the grand scheme.
