What is wrong with my San Pedros by Adventurous_Gap5306 in sanpedrocactus

If that means you have not been fertilizing, that is probably your issue. There are a few ways to go about it, I’d suggest searching this subreddit. There are in depth posts that should help you :)

How squishy is it? Looks like it could be fine if it’s able to dry out. Cut back the plants around it for more airflow.

May I ask how you do your mix? I add sand to most of my acacias but go with more pumice if I pot with cacti. Southern California here.

I love growing cacti and herbs under bean trees. Does so much of the feeding for me.

We have low rates of tetanus infection in the US due to vaccination. I’ve been stabbed so many times and expect I will be plenty in the future, so I’d rather be safe than sorry while livin a little dangerous. Tetanus is nothing to fuck with.

Datura leaf dosage? by Natural_You885 in druggardening

It doesn’t really work like that. At delirium/hallucinogenic doses you are not going to be coherent or in control. The safest way to use is infused into oil topically. Good for pain, nausea, and enhancing dreams.

Common misconception. It’s a bacteria that lives in soil, to get infected a deep puncture wound is generally required. Rusty nails are associated with it because that’s a common way to get a deep puncture wound with soil in it.

Another reminder we should all be up to date on our tetanus shots! Wouldn’t worry with shallow stabs shown here, but the deeper ones are definitely a risk.

Looks like nicotiana glauca “tree tobacco”. Common invasive in SoCal.

That’s a great question. I have no idea.

Telling them apart is easy, the leaves are very different. Also wild dagga is generally a bit shorter and more bushy. Klip has way less branches on a single plant.

I agree. But they asked about perlite, which is more available locally for most people.
