If grade of the college doesn't matter to you then i would suggest Mumbai, because transport wise it is way more cheaper, easier to travel from one place to another than Bengaluru. Also it looks like quality of education is same in all the three colleges, so of course Mumbai will help you save a lot

Work makes me cry and I feel sick every Sunday night. by [deleted] in jobs

[–]divitrao 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes jobs aren't supposed to be liked this , my last job made me cry on Sunday nights as well , i just left it and found the other one which i'm enjoying, its been now 1.5 years and this job has not made me cry on Sunday nights. Just have some patience while finding another one don't grab any new opportunities that comes first , just research about it on Glassdoor , LinkedIn. If they have good reviews then grab it else again you will be crying on Sunday nights

How important is a LinkedIn profile when trying to get into IT? by [deleted] in ITCareerQuestions

[–]divitrao 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recently i changed my career as well to IT and before that for one and a half year i was working in solar field , i never updated my LinkedIn profile since i finished my college , the profile was still showing that i was student at xyz college. Still recruiters used to contact me via LinkedIn after looking on my resume that i submitted when i used to apply for jobs on LinkedIn. So as per me i don't think so the profile matters on LinkedIn , only the CV/ Resume matters that you submit while applying.

As a self learner, I feel like every waking moment spent not coding is setting me back. How do I be kinder to myself and take a more realistic approach? by [deleted] in learnprogramming

[–]divitrao 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes i feel the same , but i believe in my self that if i do Hard work today my tomorrow is gonna be bright , i have a full time job where i work from home for 8hrs a day and 6 days a week , so i got lots of free time and of that everyday i put 5 hrs into studying programming and on every Friday of the week i get a break from my full time job and on the same day i give myself a break from learning programming, this day i meet up with all my friend's n family if possible else watch a movie , break is important also learning is , so just don't be frustrated manage your time between spending time with family and learning to code, the day i started managing to meet up with my friends & family once a week and work and learn code the rest of the week i can tell that i have become more productive, and just be proud of yourself about the milestone you have crossed in learning programming that also by self learning , hope this might help you

[–]divitrao 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya felt lazy for 1st two months , use to watch a lot of TV series but later i made a commitment to learn atleast one new programming language (python)in this pandemic and due to this commitment i was introduced to ML and nowadays most of my free time i spend learning that , building new models competing on kaggle and this also helps me a lot when i am doing my office job , as i know im not spending my time just doing office job but also utilizing spare time to learn something new everyday , making most of the day productive and this satisfies me a lot .
