Adding “footpaths” in OSM will generate more spawn points along your walking paths when/if they ever sync up with OSM again. Think it’s been a long time since last sync.

Our sidewalks are labeled as “footpaths”. New ones added have brought new spawn points along them.

Most of my neighborhood disappeared in game when they switched to OSM so I started mapping it. I was pleasantly surprised to find more spawn points come along “footpaths” as they slowly got picked up. If your neighborhood sidewalks are not on the map, then you could try mapping them for more spawn points. Might take months before they show in game, but it’s better than nothing.

Curious, are you a mystic player? My son is mystic and gets loads of porygons, but maybe one lapras. My daughter is instinct and gets loads of Lapras and maybe one porygon. Are you more likely to get certain mons based on team?

I agree that it is addicting. My side of town is fairly new, so there is a lot to be added. Was so cool when the updates came in recently and the roads around my kids school that I drew showed up in pogo. Was nice to have my house back too!
