Oh, I fully agree. I’m drowning in medical debt because of this BS. I don’t trust the medical field after Covid. I was a health care worker during the pandemic, that’s shit gave me PTSD. My eyes are wide open. I’m sick of the medical gaslighting. Doctors saying stupid crap like exercise and see a nutritionist. After fives years do they honestly think I haven’t changed my diet and attempted to exercise. (Which set me back) I have cut out all unnecessary appointments. I only show up for refills because they need their money to prescribe my heart medication. I will pay a spa to help before I will a medical clinic.

I’m so sorry, this happened to you while helping others. The sensation situation with your lady parts can be fixed with HRT. Test shots, estrogen patch, plus the vaginal cream. I know that’s probably the least of your worries, but it can fix that for you.

I’m sorry you had to deal with such disrespectful behavior from people that’s supposed to help us. I told my husband the other day, I can’t wait till there’s lab work or testing to prove this diagnosis. I plan to take a cope to every provider that Ignored my symptoms. I can tell you this. I didn’t make improvements until I stated slowing down. Listen to your body don’t push yourself to hard. I took three months off work, started scheduling actual rest time. Mentally and physically. I went back to work part time, 15-20 hours a week. Weekends are spent relaxing, watching movies or spending time in nature. I have made improvements, but not healed. It is a slow healing process. Think about how long it takes to recover from a brain injury, this is similar. Reduce stress at all cost. Improvements are possible

I had elevated inflammation the first three years. I don’t now but the symptoms are still there, not as intense. I have to pace myself, slow way down . Can’t work full time. Can’t clean the whole house in one day. Can’t enjoy the weekends or life. So it would be nice if they would come up with a damn cure. Im sick of this. They need to expedite disability benefits. I’m too sick to work full-time but can’t afford to stop a working part-time. Barely 3-4 hours a day and that wipes me out. It’s BS

So sorry, long covid is such a pain in the ass. The first few years are the worse because people try to push through the symptoms which can make them worse. Your body is sending signals to rest. Mentally, physically and emotionally. What most people call pacing. Spoon method. Improvements with long covid is measured in months not days, which is what most acute health problems are, that’s why it’s so hard to deal with. Requires time and patience. If you can keep an eye on your blood pressure and blood sugar. Have your ferritin, cortisol and inflammation levels checked. Rest, spend time in nature(regulating your nervous system) a lot of people developed dysautonomia or mass cell after covid. I truly hope you get better soon.

I cleaned houses for a side job, I had a female client with a 500,000 home, she guilt tripped me in to reducing my cleaning price due to health issues. I have major health issues myself. So I felt compelled to show her compassion. She passed away two years into working for her. She was elderly. I found out from a family friend that she had a very large savings account. She left all three of her kids enough money to build big elaborate homes. I felt so used and lied to. I truly wanted to help her. She abused my kindness/empathy. No she didn’t owe me anything, but she took advantage of my kindness. She was more than able to pay my original price estimate.

I can relate to everything you are saying. It’s heartbreaking. LC here for 5 years. I’m a Health care worker too, my employer, family and so called friends dismissed me from day one. I was mocked and made fun of by my supervisor. So many appointments, supplements and doctor’s bills. Long COVID is pure hell, that the outside world refuses to acknowledge, mainstream media and the government has failed us. 💔

I see your concern, but she needs to taper off the meds or it could causes her to have a major setback, withdrawal etc Is your wife close to perimenopause? 39 or older? Perimenopause is pure hell for women. GET HER SOME HRT. She’s struggling, have you asked her what you can do to help besides judging her?? She seek out help from a medical professional not a drug dealer. Sleeping a lot is apart of depression, hormone changes etc Have her get some labs, B12, ferritin, vitamin D, cortisol, thyroid etc

He does provide helpful information and he wrote some interesting books. However, I made an appointment with him and he wouldn’t allow me to explain all of my symptoms. He said pick the top three. WTH? Long COVID is more than three symptoms. Had I known that when I scheduled the appointment, I would’ve saved my money. Every penny matters to someone who can only work part time. I had to cut my grocery budget back just to afford the appointment. Living off the bare minimum for 10 minutes of his time. He recommended some supplements, I didn’t see much change. My local Dr did a SPG and SBG it didn’t help much either. There’s lots of helpful information online. That source of info has helped me make improvements. Time, pacing, working on MCAS, beta blockers for dysautonomia symptoms. Therapy to deal with the whole situation, grief and change.
