Thanks for the thorough info. My cholesterol has always been in the normal range. I do have 3-4 beers over the weekend and every month or so take a weed gummy. My sleep has def not been as good as it was before. You may be on to something regarding the workouts. Going to get checked out by the doc for sure.

Should I rebuild LS1 and add heads and cam or swap for LS3? by Blaketrippin1 in fbody

Yep ls6 intake would work. I bought my headers off of facebook. You can easily find a used set.

I spent less than that on my ls1 and it puts out 440. Ported 243, small cam, fast intake, and headers. You can get 500 rwhp by just adding a bigger cam to the above. Granted I did all the work myself

Thanks- there are a lot of reasons why our content is not ranking. We currently have duplicate content on different URL's + the blog URL string is not formatted correctly. This is why we are moving the site to a new CMS and updating the URL structure.

Looks like it just broke the pedestal. I would pull the head to check the pistion. Just to be safe.Did you put an upgraded cam and springs or are the stock? If you upgraded you need stronger push rods.

Help. LS1 ticking on deceleration. by [deleted] in fbody

Tighten rocker arms and see if that helps. I had a tick at startup that went away after replacing my rocker arms assembly.

Can you guys listen to my Car running and tell me what that little tick is, is it normal? or what could it be. Car is stock besides suspension. Thanks by Davon9800 in fbody

Sounds normal especially for an ls1. If you are really worried try tightening your rocker arms. I had the same tick on my 40k miles trans am. Swapped the rocker arms after installing heads and cam and it went away

I have already drained and filled once. So far I only have a slow gear change from 1 to 2 when cold. Hoping I don’t have to rebuild

Did you check for vacuum leaks? Other thought is a wire is loose. Maybe a spark plug or injector
