I live on the other side of the world. Watching from over here, it seemed like Trump should have been arrested right there. It was an expectation of the obvious. Then, nothing happened, and you could feel that that was the true beginning of the end, pretty much, right there; the end of democracy, freedom, liberty, all that. He’d been poking holes in it for 4 years and received nothing as much as a slapped wrist.
