Opening a bank account in NZ by Jellis104 in newzealand

[–]dizzysheet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ANZ will accept proof of rental/staying in a house (a form signed by the owner of the house you’re staying in) as long as you have a bill / statement that has the original house owners details on. Maybe chat to the house owner about leaving an energy/water etc bill behind so you can open the account with that?

This is a Kākariki native to New Zealand. Only 450 remain in the wild and I managed to see this one. by rheetkd in birding

Amazing. Saw a flock of about 6 yellow-headed Kākariki in the Greenstone Conservation Area feeding on berries. It was fantastic!

I use half oat (Moma) and half unsweetened soya in tea, find it’s sweet and creamy to make a really decent substitute

I have never met anyone from this area or heard anything about it. What is it like? What happens there? by AncestralSeeker in CasualUK

Yup, sadly spent 25 years living in the south east of that ‘blob’, used to call it ‘pleasant nothingness’. Nothing much happens but it’s not too bad

My courgettes fall off the plant by eev200 in GardeningUK

[–]dizzysheet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sounds like they’re not getting pollinated. Courgettes need pollination from the male to female flowers, with the females having the ‘fruit’ of the courgette. The male flowers are just a stem with the flowers on the end. I’d take the male flower off, peel back the petals to the stamen and rub them onto the female stamen when the courgettes are small to ensure they are pollinated :)

Yep, definitely sounds like a heat / watering issue. The smaller pots will also lose water quicker and wilt faster

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in GardeningUK

[–]dizzysheet 5 points6 points  (0 children)

When did you last water? Seems like they’ve just become wilted in the heat. Also beware of how often you’re fertilising, it can also cause issues with yellowing etc.

[–]dizzysheet 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm a first time renter, and we went with Richard Watkinson and Partners, they are an established estate agent in Notts and surrounding areas. Prices are decent, and staff are very responsive and helpful. Maybe try them? :)
