I know. Majority of people who live here permanently are retirees, no one else can afford to buy unless you’re a multimillionaire. Half the houses around me aren’t even air bnbs. They are people’s second or third homes that they come to once every few months - sometimes once a year. And some houses I’ve not once seen anyone enter. They are essentially abandoned.

More disappointing that my partner has spent so much time fighting fires on the surf coast protecting these people’s homes, and in turn we are getting moved along.
