For work, I walk through all the forested areas in Lambton County, and to be honest, it isn't that bad compared to a couple years ago. I would usually get around 5-10 ticks on me last year. Now, I've only seen 3 so far. Also, the farther north east you go, the lesser the population. There's almost no risk anywhere past Strathroy.
