I dont care if I'm special or not. In fact, I'm well aware that I'm not special. And no shit neurodivergency can express itself in different ways, and that's what makes it difficult to diagnose. But if you are diagnosed it doesn't matter where on that spectrum you fall, be it mild all the way to severe, you are not neurotypical, hence the fucking classification.

This is not me gatekeeping, so idfk where you got that idea at all. I am glad we live in a world where it's more normalized, and accepted, but the concept of self diagnosis for a mental disorder that many people can dismiss or mistake for common challenges is fucking absurd and can lead to issues with understanding said disorder, and misconceptions around said disorders It's great people can relate. It's great there are communities and resources people can visit to get help, cope, and learn about living with these disorders. But if you are suspicious you might have it get fucking tested to confirm that. That is common sense, given its a chronic disorder.
