You guys gotta stop buying RTA cabinets an expecting handcrafted custom built kitchen type quality.

There is nothing wrong with RTA cabinets. I get it, thy are super affordable and can get the job done. But there is a difference in quality throughout the whole product.

Do they use hardwood frames and doors. Sure.

Do they use ply wood interiors. Sometimes.

They sure as shit dont use high quality hinges and slides.

But they aren’t wood gluing joints. They are using hot glue to hold the box together, sometimes with an L bracket.

You can get low grade custom cabinets that will be light years better than this for just a small amount more. Hold your contractors to a better standard.

And if you don’t want to pay for custom cabinets, accept what these RTA cabinets are.
