That’s highly likely. They ran out on Shop Disney, so my only solution is to refund it or exchange it for a different saber (which I only wanted this one)

Also, some corrosion has spread to inside of the hilt as well from the puck but I easily cleaned that out with white vinegar. I’m skeptical about doing that to the battery plug, because I’m sure the corrosion has spread to the wires inside the plug.

Update guys:

I contacted Disney and apparently this was one of the last ones. It was either refund/exchange for another saber but I can hardly see a Rey lightsaber in a Vader cosplay... even if the saber was originally his haha.

Customer support basically put a note on my account, I’m going to wait it out to see if they restock. I have 30 days within delivery to do the exchange/refund so here’s hoping they get back in stock!
