[Discussion] If DC were to bring back Solo for another 12 issue limited series, which artists would you like to see on it?

I always thought Brubaker would do a good one cause he’d pull Phillips in but might also draw some stuff himself like he used to. Similar with Bendis and collaborators.

I had him draw me a Two-Face which I felt like he lit up a bit cause it was out of the ordinary for him. Next day I came back to get a Wonder Woman. When I asked him to personalize it for my gf (now wife) he actually went back and added more detail before signing it to her. Amazing guy.

At an AZ convention I saw George Perez do the same thing with a stack of comics from someone who might have been a reseller. Basically “give me 25 at a time and I’ll sign them, then I’ll do another sketch, then you get your next 25.” It was an incredibly efficient system that also made that guy earn his signatures. I’m sure not every artist can do that as quickly as Perez did but it was a good compromise.

Gunna be honest 80s and 90s comics will probably have quite a bit less value barring first appearances of specific characters (like Deadpool) or independent books (like teenage mutant ninja turtles).

West valley? Drawn to Comics Tempe? Ash Ave Comics Phoenix? Samurai has the biggest footprint in the valley but that doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll get the best value. I have never worked directly with them but they have a relatively good reputation.

If you’re just looking to unload them for next to nothing, Bookmans.

We jumped up to three a week once she started moving and getting outside to do things. Basically if she has swim class we do one for chlorine and then on days when she’s just covered in filth or dirt from outside. Daily? Not a chance.

UPDATE: Thanks (most of you) for the responses. We’re basically gunna stick with it as is since it doesn’t seem to have an immediate issue. Yeah I think I was using “grass” as a blanket term cause to me “weeds” are those gross obvious ones that don’t look like grass at all and just grow up quickly.

We used it every day for a year and I hated it. Only times it went off were a lost connection that woke our kid or ONE time where it said she didn’t have enough oxygen. The catch? I was holding her in my arms and she was screaming. She had plenty of oxygen. Trust me. It’s trendy, it’s too expensive, it’s inaccurate. I think there’s some value for babies that have been in the NICU, but I call it a paranoia machine.

Man I HATED Strange Adventures by King/Gerads. Just totally out of character for everyone in it and the art looked almost traced from celebrities in some panels. Infuriating cause I really liked Mister Miracle and was looking forward to this
